Teaching Experience

Professor of Voice, Tennessee Temple University. Chattanooga, TN, 2007-Now

Opera Theatre. Directed Christmas production of Gian-Carlo Menotti's Amahl and the Night Visitors (2007). Scheduled 2009 production of Meredith Willson's The Music Man.

Music Theory. Taught Music Fundamentals (introduction to music theory), a freshman/entry-level course. Taught Form and Analysis, an advanced theory course to follow Music Theory IV.

Private Voice. Taught private studio voice to students at all levels. Advised and assisted in recital composition, scheduling, and performance.

Instructor of Voice, Southwest Baptist University. Bolivar, Missouri, 2004-2007

Concert Choir. Directed choir predominantly of underclassmen in advanced choral works including John Rutter's Gloria and Rossini's Stabat Mater.

Opera Theatre. Directed scene performances of staple works such as Mozart's La Nozze di Figaro, Bizet's Les Pêcheurs de Perles, and Menotti's The Telephone; Donizetti's L'elisir d'amore (2007) and Menken & Ashman's Little Shop of Horrors (2006); as well as lessons on logistics and economics of operatic production.
