About the database: It's called (for now, and rather generically) Church Music Database, but I'll probably name it something more cool like WorshipPlanner (not to be confused with RapidPlanner, which is a great program but will set you back $250--mine will be free). It will be completely extensible (for instance, you'll be able to add as many hymnals as you want--RapidPlanner only holds eight) and will include the ability to link you up with PowerPoint files and any scanned music you've got on your system (though this might be a copyright issue--I'll have to check into that), as well as track your worship team rosters and attendance. Cool stuff like that.
I'm also thinking about developing a "concordance" for songs--taking all the hymns and songs in modern usage and finding Scripture references that these songs address, if not outright quote. That, however, will most likely be a work in progress for quite some time, as the Bible is a rather large book with a fairly sizable store of references. In fact, once I get the project started, I'll probably try to get a message board going so that other worship leaders can share ideas and references they've used in conjunction with certain songs. That way some people may have found scripture/song connections that the rest of us haven't thought of yet.
