John McGaughey

Youth Pastor

John has been Youth Minister at Sycamore Baptist Church since 1997. Prior to his call into the ministry, he was involved with volunteer Youth Work at National Heights Baptist Church in Springfield, MO. John is a native of Springfield and graduated from Hillcrest High School in 1989.

John previously working at Allan Medical with Handicap Van Installations. He is currently employed full time with Builders Glass as an apprentice glass worker.

John and Vanita were united in marriage on March 4, 2000. They have two sons, Ian James and Seth.
